God's heart is for adoption. I believe as the church we have a responsibility to care for the orphans.
My passion for adoption started with my own family's journey of love. We brought home my brother Isaac from the hospital in a state far away. 4 years later we brought home my brother Ian from an orphanage in a country far away.
This spurred my passion for adoption and was a main factor in my decision to major in Social Work. I will be graduated in December of 2011 with a Bachelors of Social Work and I am licensed to practice in the state of ND. I currently work at an adoption agency in Fargo helping children in the foster care system and the families who adopt them.
Adoption is a solution for childlessness, not infertility.
It is a way to grow a family, but also the Kingdom of God.
It is a ministry of love and sacrifice, and it is for children.
Search 'adoption' on my blog to find various posts I've written on the topic.
