Adoption

God's heart is for adoption. I believe as the church we have a responsibility to care for the orphans.

My passion for adoption started with my own family's journey of love. We brought home my brother Isaac from the hospital in a state far away. 4 years later we brought home my brother Ian from an orphanage in a country far away.

This spurred my passion for adoption and was a main factor in my decision to major in Social Work. I graduated in December of 2011 with a Bachelors of Social Work and I am licensed to practice in the state of ND. I worked at an adoption agency in Fargo helping children in the foster care system and the families who adopt them for a year and a half.

I now work at Unseen Ministries, a non-profit that supports orphans in a different, but important way.

Adoption is a redemptive response to tragedy.
If it wasn't for sin, adoption wouldn't exist. In it's DNA live joy and pain, belonging and loss, co-existing always.
In Jesus is healing, wholeness, and family.
